The Bird Nest is unlike any room at Rhino Watch. Built entirely from natural timber — walls, floor, ceiling and furniture — it blurs the boundary between interior and forest in a way that has to be experienced to be understood.

Living bamboo grows from raised stone planters beside your bed, filtering morning light and filling the room with a quiet, botanical calm. A handcarved wooden headboard rises from the floor like a piece of sculpture. Outside the wraparound windows, indigenous forest canopy stretches toward Mt Kenya.

The bathroom continues the theme — a deep oval soaking tub sits within its own timber-slatted enclosure, surrounded by bamboo, with antique brass fittings and a glass shower alongside. Every surface, every fixture, every detail was chosen by hand.
