The Paradise Flycatcher is reached by a timber boardwalk that winds through indigenous forest canopy. Arriving here feels like stepping into a different kind of quiet. The room sits within a low building whose outer walls are lined with terracotta herb planters, and whose covered terrace looks out into the trees.

Inside, the room is built entirely from timber and dressed in warm tones of green and honey. A four-poster bed with white net curtains sits at the centre, available in double or twin configuration. To one side, a live-edge timber daybed provides a second place to settle. African woven basket art and wildlife prints hang on the panelled walls.

The ensuite bathroom continues the timber theme — a vessel sink on a solid wood counter, and a glass shower enclosure set within a dark timber frame. Outside, the covered terrace with round tables and rattan pendant lights is a natural place to sit after a game drive.
